The way I approach any event is always highly professional but without losing that simple motivation of a mother cooking for her kin.
I have worked as a private chef and caterer for an array of clients, travelled to Berlin for a pop-up series, given cooking classes and imbued the process with the idea that food not only needs to taste good, but also needs to make people feel good.
I like clean tastes, beautiful and uncomplicated plating, local, seasonal, and organic or naturally grown ingredients, and ethically farmed meats and fish. I cook food that is close to home, so my dishes are often Mediterranean-inspired but executed using the French culinary techniques I was taught in cooking school. I build menus tailored to the tastes of the people eating them and of course, the occasion.
I would love to cook weekly meal options for you and/or your family and shape these meals to your dietary requirements and restrictions. Contact me to arrange a meeting to discuss what you need and how you want it done. Service includes a menu plan, shopping, cooking, and kitchen cleanup. *Please note that apart from the knives you will have to provide me with the necessary cooking utensils and kitchenware.
I offer homemade catering for events in conventional and unconventional settings. I can create and cook the menu, help with the table decoration and set-up, brainstorm venues with you and find the way to create exactly what you imagine, whether for a cocktail party, a family-style dinner, a buffet lunch, a picnic in the park, a barbeque or an open-house brunch for your neighbours.
I am always looking for opportunities to fill a space with food and life that usually doesn’t house them. Whether you are a chef looking for a partner in crime, a company that needs a chef and creative mind with whom to develop a food concept, or someone who has another job but really wishes they were in the hospitality industry, contact me; I am up for collaboration!
As I am currently preparing my move to London, I am not currently taking on any catering jobs. However, please do contact me to discuss potential collaborations for September 2016 and onwards, whether for a job within the UK or abroad.
